Free Children's Entertainment! This popular series in Pasadena always manages to choose the perfect mixture of L.A. institutions (Bob Baker) and Toddler-pleasing popular artists (Choo Choo Soul).  "The best children's entertainment around, featuring musicians, storytelling, sing-a-longs, puppeteers, and more!"  All in a mini-Hollywood Bowl-esque pavilion.

Bring the kids!  "Evenings at the museum are about to get a little hotter!  The Autry's annual Sizzling Summer Nights outdoor dance party returns to Griffith Park with the scintillating sounds of live mambo, son, Latin jazz, and Afro-Cuban beats. Come early for dinner or a stroll through the museum galleries. The café opens with a taco and drink bar at 6:00."  Special dance floor for children!  $7 per ticket includes museum entry.

Summer Music Series, Downtown Burbank

Join us for nine amazing nights of great music and dancing under the stars on the AMC Walkway (at Palm Avenue and San Fernando Boulevard) in Downtown Burbank. Festivities start at 6:00 P.M. with free dance lessons by Francisco and Stacey of The Dance Family Studio (thedancefamily.com). Then at 7:00 P.M., the two-hour concert begins and everyone hits the dance floor!

"LACMA's Friday Night Jazz series returns for its eighteenth season, celebrating the finest jazz musicians from across Los Angeles. "Relax in Hancock Park as world-renowned artists play the hottest sounds from Brazil, Argentina, Peru, Mexico, Cuba, and Los Angeles."
This event takes place in the park adjacent to LACMA.  A very family friendly concert!

Starlight Bowl, Burbank

Concerts at Polliwog Park, Manhattan Beach

"The Manhattan Beach Concerts in the Park series is an annual, summer-long event held each year at Polliwog Park. It runs from the last week in June through Labor Day weekend and has featured such artists as the Doo-Wah Riders and Lisa Haley and the Zydekats, as well as a host of other talented musicians. These performances are open seating and free to the public."



Music By the Sea, Point Fermin Park, San Pedro

Described as Cape Cod in California, this beautiful seaside park is also home to the Point Fermin Lighthouse.
