Cool Globes
April 22- July 23 ![]() If you're looking for a free, unique, and totally green downtown adventure, you've got to check out the traveling exhibit Cool Globes. Anchored at Exposition Park, it features uniquely decorated six foot globes. Designed by artists, they've been traveling the country to get folks talking about...well...THE globe. With unusual materials (seed packets, coffee beans, and a hand knit turtleneck among the group) and dramatic colors, this is a visual display that kids will "get". Our advice? Combine this adventure with a trek through the Pavilion of Wings, a butterfly atrium hosted by the Natural History Museum, for the perfect Green Adventure. |
