March 21-27

Dear Mommy,
I can't believe I am finally sending this newsletter....from our new website!  Boy, this was a long road.  Thanks to the overwhelming support of so many Los Angeles moms, Mommy Adventure Club continues to grow into something bigger than I ever imagined.  I hope our website allows you to participate in Mommy Adventure Club even more, whether it's through attendance at one of our outings, leaving a comment or two on the website, or using the on-line resources for your own adventures!

Have fun exploring the website, and please feel free to email us with any questions.

We are still in the "soft launch" phase of our website.  Excuse our dust while we continue to make final adjustments to the new site, including loading our articles and tips.  I'm a bit loopy from sleep deprivation, so if something seems totally illogical...I promise, I'm going to fix it!

If you have already PAID for membership, we will be loading your information into our system tonight.  If you sent an email expressing interest, but still need to pay, click Membership in our Welcome menu to do so.

Warmly,
Carrie
Founder and Mommy

p.s.  JOIN!  Our offer for $27 membership is only going to be extended until the end of the month!  $27 will pay for itself in just few adventures.  To join, click on Membership in the Welcome menu or "Join" in the login box.

#50 in our Feature Article,
"101 Memory Making Adventure for a Childhood in Los Angeles™"

"LACO’s family concert series opens the door for kids to enjoy this magical sound world now and for the rest of their lives. Let LACO share the joy of music with the young people in your life with these interactive concerts and fun activities."

Instrument Petting Zoo and Family Concert with the LA Chamber Orchestra

Pre-Concert Program
"Drop in any time from 1 to 2 pm for kids activities relating to the day’s performance.
* LACO’s popular Instrument Petting Zoo where kids get to bang, pluck, bow and blow on real instruments.
* Look to the sky! Peer through a telescope and learn about the changing seasons with the Griffith Observatory.
* Come and see Kidspace’s World Famous Spider Show and meet our science expert Silky the Spider. He’ll show you how our arachnid friends build webs out of their silky string. "

About the Show
"Spiders build delicate webs with their silky strings, while composers create beautiful music with the string instruments of the orchestra. Principals Kenneth Munday and Andrew Shulman join LACO’s virtuoso strings for excerpts from two Vivaldi concertos, and budding 14-year-old violinist Mayumi Kanagawa performs the “Spring” concerto from the Italian master’s popular The Four Seasons."
