Pumpkin Round Up at Descanso Gardens, LaCanada-Flintridge
Saturday and Sunday, October 25-26
“You’ll have acres of fun in Descanso’s autumn garden! All activities are scheduled for both days.”
Lots of activities to choose from!

LA Arboreatum Halloween Haunts
Sunday, October 26th, 11:00-3:00
“Halloween Haunts for the Kid in All of Us, Day of the Dead Craft Activities for Our Inner Artist and a Cornucopia of Treats to Tantalize Us All! Explore the wonders of The Arboretum – Slither Along the Serpent Trail, Creep Through the Catawampus, Scavenger Hunt Around the Historical Section, go on the Scratch and Sniff Tour of the Herb Garden, and Journey Through the Tropical Jungle!
Regular Arboretum admission fees apply plus a fee per child to participate in Halloween activities. Bring a pre- washed white t-shirt for a very special art project.

Halloween Family Fun, Leonis Adobe, Calabasas
Saturday, October 25, 1:00-4:00pm
Pumpkin carving, musical entertainment, face painting, 1800’s Games and Crafts. Free with costume!

Kidspace Museum’s Pumpkin Festival, Pasadena
Saturday and Sunday, October 25 & 26
Free admission to this park event including lots of musical performances, pumpkin patch, crafts, and more. Benefits the museum.


Manhattan Beach Pumpkin Race
Saturday, October 26th, 1:00pm

“Please join us Sunday October 26, 2008 at the Manhattan Pier beginning at 1:00pm for what promises to be the most fun and unusual Halloween event your family has ever experienced. The day long Downtown Halloween Festival and Pumpkin Race will be filled with fun, excitement, surprises, and laughter for all ages.

Halloween Harvest Storytelling, Highland Park
Tuesday, October 28th, 3:00-8:00pm
A special presentation from We Tell Stories,  a performance by the Alley Cats, trick or treating, face painting, and more. Wear your cotume! Enjoy this family friendly event in conjunction with the weekly Farmer’s Market.
This often forgotten neighborhood is experiencing a bit of a renaissance!
